Hi, I’m Alvin.

I’m Kenyan, I live and work in Tianjin, and I speak English, Swahili and Mandarin. Wenergize exists because I kept seeing the same gap: Chinese factories with good products and no way into Kenya, and Kenyan buyers who could not tell a good supplier from a bad one.

I studied environmental engineering at Tianjin University, in Mandarin, and have since worked on both sides of the China–Kenya solar and battery trade. In China I was a regional sales manager at a battery manufacturer. In Kenya I manage a solar retail shop.

That mix is what I offer. I can sit with a factory’s engineers and follow the technical detail, and I know what a Kenyan importer or retailer needs before they will say yes.
